Má tá tú ag úsáid windows, sa start button, roghnaigh
'settings,' agus ansin roghnaigh 'control panel.' Faigh
'keyboard' agus roghnaigh é. Istigh sin, tá 'tabs' ann. Bual ar
an 'languages' tab. Anois, is féidir go mbeidh an CD ROM do
Windows ag taisteáil uait, ach bain triall as ar dtús. Roghnaigh
'add language' agus roghnaigh 'English(Ireland).' Más maith leat,
déan é do phríomhtheanga. Tar éis seo, beidh bosca beag gorm sa
chúine deis thíos, agus 'En' istigh. Is féidir leat athrú teanga
a dhéanann ansin. Nuair atá 'English(Ireland)' agat, is féidir
leat na guthanna a chlóscríobh agus tú ag brú ar na cnaipí 'Ctrl'
agus 'Alt' (ar thaobh do lámha clé) ag an am céanna, agus,
voila, tá síntí fada agat. Fainic - uaireanta
déanann na cnaipí seo rudaí eile, mar shampla in AOL, ach is
féidir leat é a sárú. Tá sliochta eile ann chun síntí fada a
fháil, freisin:

If you are using Windows, in the start button, choose 'settings,' and then choose 'control panel.' Find 'keyboard' and choose it. Inside that, there are tabs. Click on the 'languages' tab. Now, you may need the Windows CD ROM, but try it first. Choose 'add language' and choose English(Ireland). If you like, make it your default language. After this, you will have a little blue box in the lower right hand corner of your screen, and 'En' inside it. You can change the language there. When you have 'English(Ireland),' you can type the vowels and press on the buttons 'Ctrl' and 'Alt' (on your left hand side) at the same time, and voila, you've got fadas! Wanring - often these buttons do other things, for example, in AOL they do, but you can get around it (type in textpad first, and copy to your email, or just undo what AOL does...).
There are other ways to get the fadas, too (see above).
